Before you are able to use KU's new Account Management tool for password resets, you must first update your MyKU profile with the relevant information. To update your profile, follow the steps below.
Login to MyKU.
On your MyKU homepage, click the "Employee Directory" tile.
In the left navigation menu, choose "Edit Profile."
Your profile information will display. In the section below your name, you'll find your MyKU ID. Remember this number! You'll need it later to rest a forgotten password.
In the "Password Reset Setup" section, add an alternate email and your cell phone number. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save."
After saving the page, be sure the correct alternate email and cell phone now display. Next click "Set PIN."
Enter and confirm your desired PIN. Then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save." Remember your PIN! You'll need it later to reset a forgotten password.
